Privacy notice

Last updated October 19, 2026

This notice explains what information this website handles and why. It covers only this website, not the restaurants, the McDonald's app or other McDonald's websites.

Who we are

This website is operated by R.E.E., Inc. (d/b/a McDonald's) and its affiliated companies, an independent McDonald's franchisee in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean R.E.E., Inc. and its affiliated companies.

What we collect

When you visit, our web server writes a standard access log entry for each page or file your browser asks for. Each entry holds:

  • the date and time;
  • the page or file requested, and whether it loaded;
  • your IP address;
  • the approximate country your connection comes from, as reported by Cloudflare, our network provider;
  • your browser's identification text (its name and version, and the type of device).

We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, to stop abuse such as automated attacks, and to count visits. They are rotated every week and the oldest are deleted, so we keep them for about two months.

What we do not collect

  • This website sets no cookies, and runs no analytics, tracking or advertising scripts.
  • No accounts, sign-ups or forms. If you call or email us, we use what you tell us only to answer you.
  • No location. "Near me" asks your browser for your location and uses it only on your device to sort the stores; it is never sent to us.
  • Your language choice (English or Spanish) is remembered in your browser's local storage, on your device. It is not a cookie and is never sent to us; you can clear it in your browser's settings.

Who else receives information

Cloudflare, our network provider, carries all traffic to this website. It processes your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

The map is drawn with images from OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org). When you open a page with the map, your browser contacts OpenStreetMap directly to load them, so OpenStreetMap receives your IP address and browser information under its own privacy policy.

Links such as the McDonald's app and website, McHire, Google Maps or Apple Maps (Directions), the app stores, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok take you to sites run by others. What you do there is covered by their own terms and privacy policies, not by this notice.

No sale, no targeted advertising

We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling, and we do not collect sensitive data.

Your rights

If you live in Texas, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives you the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal data, and get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate personal data;
  • delete your personal data;
  • opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising and profiling (we do none of these).

To make a request, call 1-888-212-1623 or email [email protected]. To find the log entries that relate to you, we may ask for details such as your IP address and the date of your visit. Requests are free. We will answer within 45 days; if we need more time, we will tell you why, and we may extend the deadline once, by up to 45 more days.

If we decline your request, you can appeal: call the same number or email the same address and ask for an appeal. We will answer an appeal within 60 days. If you disagree with the result, you can contact the Texas Attorney General.

Changes to this notice

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this notice and the "Last updated" date at the top.
